Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy is a summary of your rights regarding cancellations, changes, and refunds when you book through bosphorustour.istanbul. It should be read alongside our full Terms and Conditions, which govern all Bookings.
Cancellation by you
You can cancel from your booking using your booking reference and confirmation, or by contacting us.

Changing your booking
You can change your Booking before the scheduled start time, subject to availability.

| A different cruise | Subject to availability. If the new cruise costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, the difference is refunded to you. |
All changes must be made before the scheduled start time of your original cruise.
Cancellation by the Cruise Operator or force majeure
If your cruise is cancelled by the Cruise Operator (the licensed boat operator that runs the cruise), or due to a force majeure event such as natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, or severe weather, you will receive a full refund of the Booking Price, or you may choose to rebook on another date.
Our guarantee
We stand behind every Booking. Here is what we guarantee:
Booking Guarantee
If we deliver the wrong booking (wrong date, time, or option), or your booking is late or does not work at the pier due to our error, we will:
- First, try to fix the issue by sending you a corrected booking immediately; and
- If we cannot fix it in time, offer you a full refund or a change to a different cruise, your choice.
Cruise Guarantee
If the cruise cannot be provided as described, for example the Cruise Operator cancels, the cruise does not run as scheduled, or promised inclusions are missing, we will:
- Offer to rebook you on an equal or similar cruise at no extra cost; or
- If you prefer not to rebook, give you a full refund.
To claim: contact us at [email protected] within 24 hours of the issue with your booking details and any supporting evidence (screenshots, photos, etc.).
Refund details
- All refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the Booking, in euros, the currency you were charged in. Your bank converts the amount back to your local currency.
- Eligible refunds are for the full Booking Price, with no deduction by us.
- We initiate refunds within 3 business days of confirming the cancellation. The time for the refund to appear in your account is normally 3 to 5 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
What is not covered
Our cancellation and guarantee policies do not cover:
- Cancellations or issues caused by you (wrong date selected, late arrival, failure to meet entry requirements, or incorrect contact information);
- No-shows;
- Normal cool, breezy, or briefly rainy weather while the cruise still sailed, since boats have covered indoor seating;
- Booking delivery delays caused by your email settings or an incorrect email address;
- Consequential expenses (travel costs, accommodation, food, etc.).
