Full description

This 2-hour afternoon cruise sets out from Kabataş at 1 PM on a luxury yacht and sails up the European shore of the Bosphorus, with a live English-speaking guide on board. The yacht has open-air deck space and a covered indoor saloon, so it runs in any weather.

The cruise centers on a Turkish coffee experience: your guide tells the story of Turkish coffee from the Ottoman palace to today, then a short live demonstration shows how it is brewed in a copper cezve. Freshly made coffee and Turkish delight are served to everyone, along with soft drinks, homemade lemonade, canapés and a plate of fresh fruit.

As you sip your coffee the yacht passes Dolmabahçe Palace, the Ortaköy Mosque and the Rumeli Fortress, then crosses toward the Asian shore and pauses near the Maiden's Tower for photos before returning to Kabataş. It is a shared, guided sailing rather than a private charter.
