Food & drinks on board
What you eat and drink depends on the cruise you book. A dinner cruise is built around a full meal, while sightseeing, sunset, and breakfast cruises serve lighter food. Here is what to expect, plus drinks and dietary options.
On a dinner cruise
Dinner is a set multi-course Turkish menu served at your table:
- Cold starters and mezes: a shared selection to begin, with bread
- A main course: usually a choice of grilled chicken, meatballs (köfte), grilled fish, or a vegetarian plate, with rice, vegetables, and salad
- Dessert: a Turkish dessert such as baklava, with seasonal fruit
The live show follows the meal. See the Turkish show and entertainment.
On sightseeing, sunset, and breakfast cruises
These focus on the views rather than a full meal. A sunset cruise serves light bites such as canapés, snacks, and fruit; a breakfast cruise serves a morning spread; and a sightseeing cruise usually offers soft drinks and small snacks.
Drinks
- Soft drinks: usually included, or part of the base package
- Tea and coffee: served on most cruises, often later in the evening
- Alcohol: available on many boats from the bar, as a paid add-on or a higher package tier rather than the standard menu
Dietary needs: vegetarian, halal, and allergies
Vegetarian meals are available on request, and many menus are halal. If you have a dietary need or a food allergy, you must let us know before you book so the kitchen can prepare for it.
Important, please read if you have a food allergy: always tell us about any allergy before booking, and check directly with the onboard staff before you eat. Menus and kitchens can contain allergens such as nuts, shellfish, gluten, and dairy, and we cannot guarantee that a dish is completely free from traces. If your allergy is severe, contact us first so we can confirm what is safe for you.
