At the pier
- Main piers are the most accessible: Kabataş and Eminönü have ramps and step-free boarding
- Crew assistance: staff can help with boarding and finding a seat
- Arrive early: a little extra time makes boarding more comfortable
On board
- Larger ferries and dinner yachts: ramps, spacious seating, and often accessible restrooms
- Smaller boats and private yachts: may have steps and limited access, and may not have an accessible restroom
- Help on board: crew can assist elderly guests and those with limited mobility, and there are dedicated seating areas on many boats
