If the operator cancels

Operator cancellations are rare, but they can happen, usually because of bad weather, rough seas, or a safety closure on the strait. If your cruise is cancelled, you are always looked after. Here is what happens and what you are entitled to.

What happens if the operator cancels

In the unlikely event that the operator needs to cancel your cruise, they will do their best to offer you an alternative date or time slot. If no alternative is available, or none works for you, we will fully refund your booking. You are never left out of pocket for a cancellation that was not your choice.

Your refund

Once we email you to confirm the cancellation, your refund is processed automatically to the same payment method you used to book. Depending on your payment method, it usually appears in your account within 3 to 5 business days. For more on timing, see refunds and how long they take.

Told about a cancellation but no email yet?

If the operator told you your cruise was cancelled but you have not received a confirmation email from us, please get in touch using the form below. Add your booking reference and a short message so we can find your booking and arrange your refund or an alternative quickly.

You can also reach our team any time through contact us. For the full policy, including weather and other events outside anyone’s control, see our free cancellation policy.
