Secure checkout & payment protection

Paying for your cruise is safe. Your card details are encrypted, handled by one of the most trusted payment companies in the world, and never seen or stored by us. Your payment is processed by Stripe over an encrypted connection, we never see your full card number, and we never store it. This page explains exactly how your payment is protected, from the moment you enter your card to the moment any refund is returned.

Your payment is handled by Stripe

We do not process card payments ourselves. Checkout is powered by Stripe, the same payment provider used by companies such as Amazon, Google, and Shopify:

• PCI DSS Level 1: Stripe is certified to the highest level of payment security that exists, the standard set by the global card networks
• Bank-grade encryption: your card details are encrypted the instant you enter them and sent directly to Stripe, not through our own systems
• We never see your card: we receive only a confirmation that the payment succeeded, never your full card number, expiry, or security code
• Nothing stored by us: because we never hold your card data, it cannot be exposed by us

Extra checks that protect you

• 3D Secure: many payments ask you to confirm with your bank, by a code or your banking app, so only you can authorise the charge
• Fraud screening: Stripe automatically screens each payment for fraud signals and blocks suspicious activity
• Encrypted connection: the whole site runs over a secure HTTPS connection, shown by the padlock in your browser address bar

How to know you are on the real checkout

A few simple checks confirm you are paying safely:

• The address bar starts with https and shows a padlock
• The domain is our own, bosphorustour.istanbul, with nothing odd added before or after it
• We never ask for your card details by email, phone, or chat, only ever on the secure checkout page

If anyone ever asks for your full card number or your bank password outside the checkout page, do not share it, and tell us straight away.

What we can and cannot see

• We can see: your name, contact details, your booking, and a confirmation that payment succeeded
• We cannot see: your full card number, expiry date, or security code, and we never store any of these

Your money is protected if something goes wrong

Secure payment also means you are covered after you pay:

• Refunds to the same card: any refund goes back to the exact card or wallet you paid with, never anywhere else, which protects you against misdirected money
• Card scheme protection: paying by card gives you the dispute and chargeback protections offered by Visa, Mastercard, and your bank
• Backed by our guarantee: if a cruise is not delivered as described, you are refunded, see your refund rights
